C-Line Engineering Inc was established in 1973 out of a need to provide quality drag racing oil pans to racers in our regional area. With help from one of the leading innovators and premier dyno men in the country, John Lingenfelter, we successfully began filling that need.

    As time moved on into the late 70's and early 80's, we once again found a need with another innovator, and ex-drag racer, C.J. Rayburn, who was starting to build oval track dirt late model race cars. This new breed of super fast, light weight race cars placed a premium on superior oil control in a wet sump oiling system. Again C-Line was up to the task, and began the line of competition oval track oil pans and pumps.

    At this point in time our founder, Dick Schroder, put his engineering and racing background to work, designing a new breed of light weight tubular spindles and suspension parts for these cars. C-Line quickly became suppliers to most of the major chassis builders of that era, C J Rayburn, Barry Wright, Jig-A-Lo, and Bullit Chassis. With the exploding popularity of this new breed, other manufacturers and some car builders began producing parts off of these designs. With the chassis part market now flooded and margins dwindling, C-Line moved back to their roots by dropping these lines and concentrating solely on the oil pan business.

    As the 90's come to close, new and different racing series are being created almost yearly. The styles and designs of high performance oil pans required are also expanding. Once again C-Line is there to fill your needs with top of the line products and reliable, timely service.
